Students began working on their Douglas Deer Study write up today. They have class time each day until Wednesday of next week. Many students want to work on this at home. Check with your child to see what progress they are making.

Homework: work on rough draft of deer study write up (due Friday at the end of class).

The students will be working on making a brochure or article about their deer study. It is due Wednesday of next week.

Today students looked at data from our deer study field trips. They calculated averages for vegetation cover and canopy cover as well as calculating a scat density for one of the sites.
We will be working on the deer data for a few more days and then back to bacteria.
